Matilda The Cute Congo African Grey & Our Family Member!

 HELLO ALL,

Hey I just wanted to say "hi" and let you know that I will be catching up on my "written" blog(s) this week, but for today I wanted to share some really cute pictures of Amy with her cute and spunky COG (Congo African Grey) Parrot, and our "family member" since January 2011, "Matilda".  We call her "Tilly" or "Boo Boo" or "TILLY BOO BOO" for short!! Sometimes when she bites us..then we say other things under our breath of course! LOL
She has become a perky little addition to our family. She loves to come out of her cage in the mornings when we have our tea together and breakfast. She "talks" to us quite a bit. We call it "talking" but actually the only words that she's said so far are "Hello Boo Boo", "Hi Boo Boo" and the rest is screeching!  She loves to be noisy and scream, chirp and just plain make alot of hulabaloo!! LOL
Well, you get the picture from my pictures here on this page! Tilly has become a big and important part of our little family! Sort of like we cannot live with her but can't live without her either! eh-hemmmm.....LOL...Amy takes great care of her "baby" and she sits and comes down with us to watch television from her little playscape "tree". It's so cute if you look closely at the pictures. She will put her little foot out and up and that is usually when she's happy and/or resting. She really does some cute things such as the minute Amy steps in the door from work or being out with her friends or something, Matilda starts screaming for her!!  We will hear  "RRRRRAAAAARRRR" ..."AAAAAAARRRRRR" and that is her calling "Amy"!! HA HA....One day we will get her to talk a bit more..but for now at only 11 months old, we settle for "Hi Boo boo"!  So for now I say "goodnight" and I hope you enjoy my pictures of the week. Love to all,
Suzanne xo

AMY and "TILLY"...BFF's too!!

Hello all!
This is my "picture" blog so today I'm filling it with pictures of my beautiful daughter,Amy. She's so pretty and very brilliant in her mind also! Amy graduated from WSU  with "High Honors" which is "Magna Cum Laude".
Her degree for her B.A. program is "Honors English" and "Honors Curriculum". Today she is enrolled in her final year of her Master's Degree program for "Library and Information Sciences".
She will be done in May 2012 and hopefully on her way to a great career and a new life. She is my pride and joy and I love her so much and she and I have a bond that is so very strong and everlasting. NOTHING and NO ONE will or can ever break that bond. She has a very strong mind and a will of her own. She doesn't let others tell her or guide her in the wrong ways...like a young teen or "bobble headed" girl would do. She truly has her head on straight.
She is moving forward in life and has a couple wonderful "BFF's" and a lovely Aviary friend named "Matilda", but who we lovingly call "Boo Boo" or "Tilly". She has 3 jobs right now AND is in the M.A. program at W.S.U. I just don't know how she can do it all and still have a social life on weekends.
She loves going out to dinner or a club with her friends and enjoys reading and dancing! She has a soul and a heart like no other! I love her with all of my heart and she is my "hero" for getting out of a horrible situation a few years ago. She is my "hero" also for understanding, knowing and believing the "Truth" and not just listening to what others may tell her but judging for herself. She's not one of those people who has a craving for large group of friends but instead a yearning for one or two close relationships where she feels trust and trusted. She has those close friendships and as she gets older I see her forming more of these kind of very mature friendships.
Well, Amy is my "picture" of the day for my "picture blog"; mostly because she is my "Joy" and my picture of beauty, love and friendship.

The Cardiac Cath From Hell and The RSD Afterwards!

part of the floral arrangement that was delivered to my home afterwards from my dear friend and "sissy"

the note on the floral arrangement...this meant everything to me!

 Hello all,
Here is a little video about the procedure that I had done this last Tuesday. Mine was a little different in the fact that  A) there was no anesthesiologist and B) I was not "out" or "drowsy" or "sleepy" in any way, shape or form...in fact I was very awake and it was like a nightmare being strapped down and totally out of control while they are not listening to you when you are screaming and crying "I CAN FEEL THIS"...."IM NOT ASLEEP or EVEN DROWSY"...."I'M STILL AWAKE!!!" ...it was horrible and I have RSD/CRPS besides. They put the catheter into my worst RSD arm/wrist which has made for a terribly painful week for me now with swelling, redness, and extra horrible pain from not only the RSD but then from the catheter site as they chose to go through my wrist instead. I was not asleeep, nor was I drowsy in the least! I kept on yelling that to them. They kept feeding "VERSED" into my IV about 7 times, I think they tried and nothing was working!! They also added Dilauded twice but still nothing put me out of my misery. Mostly because of the pain meds that I'm on already 24/7 for my chronic pain and debilitating Neurological disease called "Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome".  This most likely will not happen to you if you have the test done unless you are a pain patient already in intense chronic intractable pain and on medication for it 24/7.

Here are a few pictures, video's etc. to show you what I went through; though I was not drowsy in any way , shape or form...

This is a video to show you what they normally do during this procedure!

my right RSD wrist after the cardiac cath....it hurts worse than it looks!

It hurts much more than it appears , believe me and RSD too!

a beautiful flower bouquet that I got from one of my very best friends...and she's like a "sister" to me

the little "angel teddy bear" embedded into the floral arrangement! Also there's a butterfly too!
Here are a few pictures of what my wrist and arm looks like now and after the procedure and today is now Friday. I had this done on Tuesday and my arm still hurts so much and into my shoulder, wrist etc. I feel like I've been run over by a horse or something and I'm totally exhausted and in pain up to about a 9 on the pain scale. Not having fun at all.....not this week...better luck next week! Thanks all xo
