This time I just thought I'd make my "picture blog" mostly about the upcoming month of November and how it is "RSD AWARENESS MONTH"! Please if there's any way possible...go to the facebook "Causes" page and go to my Cause at : http://www.causes.com/causes/185833-support-educate-research-for-invisble-diseases-including-chronic-pain-rsd-crps
This is a page that takes donations and gives it to the non -profit organization called "RSDHOPE.ORG". and you can find them on the internet at www.rsdhope.org and you will be helping a great cause for helping to find a cure and raise awareness and support for the most painful Neurological disease known to mankind...called "RSD/CRPS". I have this disease...it is also known as "Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome".
You can also go to www.RSDS.org and they are another non-profit group that helps with awareness and support of people with RSD/CRPS. They are also trying to answer questions from people who recently have gotten this horribly painful debilitating and progressive disease. I just wanted to at least ask you to wear "ORANGE or RED or Reddish Orange" which is the color of "fire" and the way that RSD pain feels. It feels like your body is on fire and someone poured gasoline on it instead of water and it just burns 24/7. If you are lucky enough to get a Dr. who cares and wants to help you and one of the few who are knowledgeable about RSD, that is a God send...but if not, please don't wait...call one of these organizations and ask for help..I also run a support group on facebook for support of all kinds of chronic pain AND RSD/CRPS and it is at :
http://www.facebook.com/groups/Invisible.diseases/ ............. I hope you will help and if all else fails...please just wear orange or red a few days this month to show your support! Thank you so much...any questions? Please check out the above websites! I also sell support/awareness jewelry and 5.00 from each sale goes to RSDS or RSDHOPE, so every time I sell 5 items, I send them 25.00! Thanks all for reading!! with love and prayers and hugs, Suzanne xo
