This is me giving a tribute to those of us with RSD/CRPS by performing Katy Perry's song "ROAR"..the words and the meaning of the song fit so well with our painful nerve disease of burning fire. November is RSD/CRPS awareness month and I did this in honor of November and to let people know to stay strong, never give up

OMG!!! I/we are so excited to welcome Grant Edmund James, into our family! He and Amy are getting married next Summer and We could not be happier! Grant is the son I always hoped to have, he will be a wonderful son(in law..LOL). We are so blessed to have our family be growing and have our daughter be so happy and blessed and in love, as well!
Grant took Amy to their favorite pastime, a Detroit Tiger's baseball game. After the game, they went to their favorite restaurant, "The Melting Pot". While they were gone, Grant's sister, Sarah (she is 19 or 20 years old and in College. She and Amy get along so great and they do alot together. I'm so happy Amy is gaining not only a wonderful man to be with her forever, but a "sister" too!) was decorating Amy's apartment with balloons, a sign, flowers and rose petals! She was so surprised and so excited and we just couldn't be happier for them both! Amy just got her "dream job" and she's so happy about that as well. Her life is coming together and I'm proud to say that I have done the best job I knew how and I think she turned out to be such a wonderful and blessed young lady! Check out the great photo's from this memorable occasion.

Well today I have some beautiful pictures of Luna, my 3 yr old white cat. We rescued her from ...well first from a hoarders home where they had over 28 cats and several dogs. She had just had kittens and had to sneak outdoors to have them safely. She had not been an outdoor cat,but the dogs were starting to get very hungry from not being fed and the cats were hungry but they hunted mice etc. The dogs started eating the cats and it was a bad case all the way around! The ASPCA came in and took the starving animals and the guardians of these animals were arrested and now are n jail. Luna went to foster care for 6 months and then she came to us! I love her and she brings so much joy into our home.

My daughter, Amy and I have had many fun and beautiful days together. This Spring 2013, we had an especially nice and fun day together. We visited our little Downtoen Plymouth area, had a bit of lunch and did a bit of window shopping! We ended up at the little park, "Kellogg Park"! We chatted and watched children laughing & playing. We took several pictures because somehow later on, we ended up at the little park on our street & we sat in the swings! What a beutiful day of sharing together!

We recently rescued an all white with gorgeous emerald eyes, domestic mix, 2 3/4 year old Cat; and we named her "Luna Skye"! She was taken from a hoarders home where there were many cats (about 28 or so?) and several dogs. The animals were very hungry and had been very neglected! Luna, was so very smart! She was ready to deliver her babies and she snuk outdoors when someone opened a door! She didn't want those poor hungry dogs to go after her new babies because they were starved. Now we all know it was not the dogs faults in any way; but she didn't know that! She had her babies and she was very very thin, while having just enough energy and great hunting skills to feed her babies.
A neighbor found her and her kittens outside roaming around and looking very thin. They put them in a box and took them to the Humane Society. There was litigation for 6 months and Luna was put into foster care to be able to take care of her kittens and feel free and safe to do so. Her ex-guardians were put into jail for animal hoarding, neglect and whatever else they got? My daughter went to the humane society website and found Luna there and wanted to get her to be a "buddy" for her cat (my grand-kitty" "Sutton". Sutton is an almost 5 year old domestic, all black Cat with green eyes. They did NOT like each other at all! I sort of think Amy's apartment was just a bit of a tight space for 2 Cats who didn't know each other! Sutton stopped eating and stopped grooming and her hair was falling out. She was very sad and my daughter knew that she had to do something quickly, but she didn't want to have to take Luna back to the foster care home; even though they were great or are great people with a nice farm!
I said to my daughter " why not bring her over here and see if it works out?" We had been wanting to get a dog or a cat anyways...just kind of waiting for the right one to come to us! She DID come to us!! From the moment I saw her, I knew that she was a "keeper! The first night at our home, we had been going to keep her in the basement; just for a day or two especially at night until we trusted that she knew where everything was from her food, water and litter box. She was having none of that !!! We have a 1/2 door on our basement and it's pretty high. Not many Cats could get over it, especially from the stairway at the bottom! We were sitting on the couch and suddenly heard a loud "THUD" ! ??? Luna had just jumped the 1/2 door and the stair way and she was sitting on about a 1 inch top molding! LOL.....OMG....can you even believe that? She wanted to be with us...well we wanted to be with her....She's been with us ever since; and now going on 5 months!
Actually, when we got her, the name they'd given her was "Cora" and it is a cute name, but we all kind of want to name our animals if its possible. We thought she looked like the glow of the moon, a white full moon and her eyes were glowing like opalescent emeralds! We decided to call her "Luna Skye". "Luna" means "moon" in several languages,, including Spanish! The middle name that we've given her is "Skye" due to the fact that her emerald eyes look like a glowing green and beautiful sky! She is very skidish but has become a faitful and trusting, trusted companion. She follows me around the house as I do whatever it is that I do. She sleeps under my arm or at my waist every night. When she sits under my arm, it is so cute because she tries to get comfortable by resting her chin on my "not so sore" part of my right arm. She sometimes feels the need to "guard" me and that is when she sits sometimes fully awake while we or I sleep; at my waistline area....she is so adorable! I hope you enjoy these pictures and video of my beautiful new BFF, who "rescued me" and not the other way around!!!! Enjoy also her very own page on "Catster" at [http://www.catster.com/cats/1289866]
